EgyptAir will resume its direct flights between Cairo and Tokyo on September 14

EgyptAir will resume its direct flights between Cairo and the Japanese capital, Tokyo, starting September 14.

Sameh Shoukry, Minister of Foreign Affairs, affirmed that Egypt has feelings of great appreciation for the Japanese contribution to supporting the development and its sincere involvement in supporting national projects, including the Grand Egyptian Museum.

Shukri said, during a conference held on the sidelines of his meeting with the Japanese Foreign Minister, which was broadcast on Cairo News satellite channel, today, Tuesday: “We look forward to Japan’s presence in the opening ceremony of the Grand Museum being prominent, reflecting the extent of cooperation between the two countries until the project comes to light.

Shukry added that he reviewed with his Japanese counterpart the developments in relations between the two countries, the most important of which is the resumption of direct EgyptAir flights between the capital of the two countries on September 14. He continued: “We look forward to it being reflected in the Japanese tourism movement to Egypt.
